This class assignment in a split-complementary colour harmony was inspired by the graphic pattern of the woven coverlet. I also aimed to mix a range of patterns and colours in a way reminiscent of Tricia Guild’s work. Room rendering in watercolour. Products spedified include Benjamin Moore Aura paint in 2040-60 ‘Antiguan Sky’ and AF-430 ‘Wasabi’, recycled-nylon carpeting, thrift-store bedding, custom upholstery using soy-based foam, and fabrics from Robert Allan and Fabricland.
