This class assignment in a complementary colour harmony doubled as a personal challenge to create a room prominently using Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2009, ‘Mimosa’. Products specified include Silkroad bamboo flooring, Interface FLOR’s Fedora carpet tiles, Celerie Kemble for Braemore Textiles ‘Caldera’ spiral-printed cotton, recycled-polyester microsuede, organic cotton, and linen fabrics, Benjamin Moore Aura paint in 2020-30 ‘Sparkling Sun’ and AF-290 ‘Caliente’, and AFM SafECOat 0-VOC paint in V19 ‘Moon.
